Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival NJP Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok (130 Kms / 04 Hrs)
You will be met on arrival at the Airport/Railway Station. Transfer to Gangtok. In the evening, you may either chose to take rest or go for a walk around the town.
Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 2 :
Gangtok – Tshangu Lake (43 km / 03 hours)
After a hearty breakfast in the morning, start your day with an excursion to Baba Mandir & Tshangu Lake - situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Tshangu Lake is revered as a holy lake by the locals of Sikkim. What’s interesting is that the surface of this lovely lake reflects different colours with the change of seasons. Visited by hundreds of people each day, Baba Mandir is a beautiful holy shrine. Evening back to Gangtok.

Note: In case of Land slide or any reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.
Day 3 :
Gangtok - Pelling (116 Km / 04 hours)
In the morning, go for a half day sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls where you get absorbed by the sounds of the waterfall. Also visit Do-drul Chorten – a significant holy stupa of Gangtok, the Research Institute of Tibetology – a museum beautifully laid out with Buddhist history (Closed on Sunday) and the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom – a heritage gem. (Closed on Sunday). Also enjoy a vibrant Flower Show. In the afternoon, transfer to Pelling (5500 Ft/1675 Mts).

Day 4 :
Pelling – Yuksom Excursion
After breakfast, we drive to Yuksom (5840 Ft/1780 Mts, 35 Kms/02 Hrs). On the way, spot a panoramic view of Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfalls, the Hydro Project & Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts). The lake is one of the most sacred Buddhist mountain lakes and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. Visit the Kanchanjunga Waterfalls, known for its splendid beauty and glory. A drive further ahead takes you to Yuksom literally means “the meeting place of three learmed monks”. It is also the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening back to Pelling.

Day 5 :
Pelling – Kalimpong (115 Kms / 04 hrs approx.)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Kalimpong
At an altitude of 1250m, Kalimpong’s location is ideal for a pleasant, relaxed getaway. Its clement weather has made Kalimpong’s orchids and gladiole well renowned. Up to the early 1700s, the Kalimpong area was part of the Sikkim raja’s domain. In the early 18th century, the Bhutan king also took it over. In 1865, after the Anglo-Bhutan War , it was annexed to Darjeeling. Scottish Missionaries came here in the late 1800s. The town thrived as a wool trading center with Tibet till 1950s. Today it’s a quiet hill resort and a haven for retired people.

Day 6 :
Kalimpong – Darjeeling (70 Kms / 03 Hrs)
Today after a filling Breakfast, visit Deolo hills – the highest point in Kalingpong with a mesmerizing view and Dr. Graham’s Home. This school is unlike any other, and also can be called as the “children’s village in the Himalayas”. Also visit the Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang and Durbin Dara Hills. Transfer to Darjeeling (7380 Ft/2250 Mts).
Darjeeling is one of the most magnificent Hill Station in the World. Famous for its tea industry, it is a flavorful district located at the southern range of the Himalayas. This gives the town of Darjeeling a cool climate. This is the reason why Darjeeling finds mention in the itinerary of almost every tourist’s visit to India. This placement allows all of Darjeeling’s occupants to experience the area to its fullest, getting the best mixture of soothing temperatures possible.

Day 7 :
Darjeeling
Get ready for an early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft/2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view a captivating sunrise over the Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. After breakfast, go for a half-day sightseeing tour of the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. (Closed on Thursday). Also enjoy the Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person). Visit the Tenzing & Gombu Rock – where Tenzing Norway did his training, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & get a scenic view of the lovely Tea Estate.
Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 8 :
Darjeeling - NJP Station / Bagdogra Airport (110 km / 03 hours)
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel & Reach the Bagdogra Airport/Railway Station for your journey that takes you back home with fulfilling memories.
